Arkansas - Starting TE Ben Cleveland (neck) missed last week and is expected be out several weeks. Leading WR Marcus Monk (knee) was injured during camp and is out indefinitely. Monk easily led the team in receptions, yards and TD's last year.

Arkansas State – Projected returning Starting WR Patrick Higgins has been dismissed from the team during fall camp after arrest for theft.

Army – Starting QB David Pevato (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game at Wake Forest. If he is unable to start he will be replaced by Carson Williams who started 4 games last year as a true freshman.

Auburn – Starting LB Merrill Johnson (shoulder) was injured last week and is expected to miss. Starting DB Jonathan Wilhite (hamstring) was held out of practice at times this week but is expected to play. Projected starting RB Brad Lester (academics) is out indefinitely. Starting LB Tray Blackmon (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday. Starting S Aairon Savage (abdominal) is also now probable. Starting Punter Ryan Shoemaker (elbow) is expected to miss.

Ball State – Returning starting LB Wendell Brown (pectoral) is out for the year.

Boise State – Starting WR Vinny Perretta (shoulder) and LB David Shields (shoulder) left last weeks game and are both listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs Wyoming but coach Peterson says he expects both to play.

Boston College – Starting DE Nick Larkin (knee) is expected to miss at least 4 games. Starting DT B.J. Raji (academics) has decided to redshirt this season. Starting LB Brian Toal (shoulder) has redshirted this season. Toal led the team in tackles per game last year.

Buffalo – Top WR Terrance Breaux (knee) has been hobbled since training camp, did not play in first two games, and is questionable for Saturday's game at Penn State. Starting Fullback Chris Scharon (unknown illness) missed last week and will not play this weekend according to Coach Gill.

BYU - Returning starting S Dustin Gabriel as well as backup S David Tafuna have foot injuries from fall camp and will likely miss the season.

California – Starting DT Mike Kane (concussion) did not play last game and is questionable vs La Tech. Starting PK Tom Schneider (quad) will likely miss his third straight game.

Central Florida – Projected starting LB Jordan Richards (shoulder) missed last game and is listed as questionable for Saturday.

Connecticut – Starting LG Lawrence Green (knee) is very questionable for this weekend. Coach Edsall had said previously he was out indefinitely but now hopes he will not miss the entire season. Starting LB Ryan Henegan (knee) missed last game and has returned to practice but is still questionable for Saturday.

Colorado – Starting RB Hugh Charles (hamstring) missed last game but is probable for Saturday. WR/RB/ST Bernard Jackson (eligibility) has not been practicing and will not play Saturday vs California. Jackson played QB last year and was named offensive captain before the season. DT Jason Brace (ankle) was hurt during the ASU game and is listed as questionable for Saturday. Projected starting middle linebacker Michael Sipili was suspended for an offseason incident and is expected to miss again.

Duke – Starting OT Fred Roland (back) is probable for Saturday.

East Carolina – OL Doug Polochak (shoulder) missed last week and is questionable Saturday vs Southern Miss.

Florida – Top WR Andre Caldwell (mcl) left last game and is expected to miss Saturday. Other starting WR Percy Harvin (Achilles) was limited last game but is probable for Saturday.

Florida Atlantic – Starting SS Kris Bartels (shoulder) is questionable for Saturday. Starting CB Corey Small (ankle) left last game and is questionable for Saturday. Starting WR Chad Wilkes (hamstring) remains questionable Saturday. TE Mike Wilds (knee) who had been listed a starter on the depth chart is now out for the season. FAU leading returning receiver Frantz Simeon (academics) has not played and will miss the season. Simeon also led the Sun Belt in punt returns.

Florida International – Returning stating LT Andy Levine (hand) is expected to play but may not start. Starting WR Jeremy Dickens (groin) missed last game and is expected to miss at least two more weeks.

Florida State – Starting RB Antone Smith (concussion) was hurt last game but will be sporting a new helmet and is expected to play.

Fresno State – Starting Junior guards Adam McDowell and Cole Popovich both have leg injuries from last week and will not play Saturday.

Georgia Tech - Reserve S Joe Gaston (hamstring) and reserve DE Robert Hall (leg) have been ruled out by coach Chan Gailey and the Tech staff.

Hawaii – Returning Starting LB Blaze Soares (hamstring) missed the last two games and is questionable for this week at UNLV according to Don Best but local papers say he did not make the trip to the mainland where they have been the past week. Starting DT Keala Watson (foot) is listed as questionable.

Indiana – Starting S Austin Thomas (concussion) is questionable after being injured last week.

Iowa - Starting WR Dominique Douglas is suspended indefinitely following off the field issues. Douglas led the team catches and receiving yards last season. WR Trey Stross (leg) who started in week 1 vs NIU will miss at least two weeks.

Kentucky – Starting DT Myron Pryor (stomach) will not start but is expected to play vs Louisville. Starting FS Marcus McClinton (ankle) missed last game but has been upgraded to probable for Saturday.

LSU – Starting SS Craig Steltz (toe) is questionable. Starting QB Matt Flynn (ankle) was hurt last week and is listed as probable to play.

Louisville – Starting FB Brock Bolen (MCL) will miss this weekend vs Kentucky.

Memphis – Returning top starting RB Joseph Doss (knee) is expected to miss Saturday.

Miami – QB Kyle Wright has been reinstated as the starter. Starting S Lovon Ponder (knee) was hurt last week and is expected to miss a couple weeks. Backup RB Charlie Jones (foot) is out for Saturdays game at Oklahoma.

Miami (Ohio) – 2nd All-MAC LB Joe Hudson (knee) is listed as doubtful this Saturday at Don Best. Hudson wants to play but it is unknown whether the coaching staff will let him. Starting OL Matt McKeown (shoulder) is expected to miss the rest of the season. Starting RB Brandon Murphy (knee) was injured last week and is expected to miss this week.

Michigan – Starting QB Chad Henne (leg) is out this week vs Notre Dame and Ryan Mallett will start in his place. 2nd Tm AA Mike Hart (thigh) is expected to play.

Michigan State – Projected starting WR T.J. Williams (suspension) was suspended last week and is questionable for Saturday. Starting S Nehemiah Warrick (leg) was injured last game is questionable for Saturday.

Minnesota – Starting TE Jack Simmons (leg) missed last week and is questionable for Saturday. Starting LB Mike Sherels (chest) was injured last week but probable to play Saturday.

Mississippi – Starting weak side LB Jonathan Cornell (arm) is doubtful this week at Vanderbilt.

Mississippi State – Starting LB Jamon Hughes (shoulder) is expected to play according to coaches but is currently listed as Questionable at Don Best. Reserve cornerback Jasper O'Quinn (quad) won't play Saturday.

Navy – Navy's defensive captain FS Jeff Deliz (ankle) is out for the season. Starting MLB Clint Covie (foot) is out for the season after suffering an injury last week vs Rutgers. Sovie was one of the two returning starters on Navy's defense this year and called all the defensive signals as well as leading the team in tackles in Week 1 vs Temple.

Nebraska – Starting S Tierre Green (stinger) left last game and is questionable for Saturday.

New Mexico – Starting CB Glover Quinn (groin) was injured last week and is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks

North Carolina – Starting LB Chase Rice (ankle) was hurt in week 1 and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Northern Illinois – Starting RB Montell Clanton (acl) is expected to miss the rest of the season. Starting WR Marcus Perez (shoulder) is now expected to miss. Starting LB Tim McCarthy (acl) will miss the rest of the season. Backup TE Reed Cunningham (ankle) is expected to miss.

Northwestern – Starting RB (ankle) Tyrell Sutton was injured last game and is listed as questionable for Saturday. LB Eddie Simpson (leg) has been downgraded to expected to miss.

Notre Dame - Reserve DL Derrell Hand is suspended and expected to miss.

Ohio - Returning starting DE Ernie Hodge (disciplinary) is out indefinitely.

Ohio State – Projected starting WR Raymond Small (ankle) missed the last 2 games but is expected to play vs Washington.

Ole Miss – Returning starting WR Dexter McCluster has an undisclosed injury and is out 3-6 weeks. Ole Miss defensive tackle recruit Jerrell Powe will not be academically eligible this season.

Oklahoma State – Projected starting WR Artrell Woods (back) will miss the rest of the 2007 season. LB Alex Odiari who started 4 games last year was dismissed from the team due to legal issues.

Penn State – Reserve DT Abe Koroma (foot) is expected to miss.

Pittsburgh – Starting QB Bill Stull (thumb) is out 4-6 weeks. Starting DT Gus Mustakas (acl) was injured last week and is out for the season. Top returning WR Derek Kinder (knee) was hurt in fall camp and expected to miss the season.

Purdue – DE Keyon Brown (ankle) who made his first start last week had to leave the game and is questionable Saturday. Starting WR Selwyn Lymon (legal) is questionable for Saturday. Starting LB Dan Bick (neck) and S Torri Williams (knee) are probable but expected to be limited. LB Jason Werner (back) has returned from surgery and expected to play limited snaps.

San Diego State – Returning OL starter Brandyn Dombrowski (eligibility) who missed last game is questionable for Saturday.

San Jose State – 2nd team All WAC RB Yonus Davis (ankle) missed last week and once again should miss. Starting C Justin Paysinger (back) missed last week and is listed as questionable. Starting Tackle John Booker (knee) missed last week and is listed as questionable as well. Returning DT Adonis Davis (ankle) missed last week and is listed as questionable.

SMU – Starting DT Charles Berry (stinger) missed last game and is questionable for Saturday. Backup RB Cedrick Dorsey (thigh) is listed as questionable. All-conference LB Reggie Carrington, the team's leading tackler in 2006, decided not to play his final season. JUCO transfer S Rock Dennis, a projected starter suffered a shoulder injury in fall camp and is out for the season.

Stanford – Backup FB Sam Weinberger (undisclosed) missed last game and is currently questionable.

Syrcause – Starting C Marvin McCall (ankle) left last game and was unable to return. X-rays were negative but he remains questionable for this week.

Texas - Returning starter WR Billy Pittman (shoulder) is out indefinitely. DE Brian Orakpo (knee) missed last game and is expected to miss once again. Starting RT (elbow) was injured last week vs TCU and is doubtful.

Texas A&M – Starting FB Chris Alexander (leg) left last game and is questionable Saturday vs Monroe.

Toledo - Three starters on defense, DE Sean Williamson, CB Nigel Morris, and FS Tyrrell Herbert are doubtful for Saturday's game with unspecified injuries. Backup corners Greg Harris (leg) and Desmond Marrow (unknown) are also doubtful for Saturday.

Tulane – Starting DE Sean Carney (calf) will miss Saturday vs Houston

Tulsa – Projected starting RB Courtney Tennial (Achilles) was hurt during fall camp and is out for the season.

Troy – Returning starting DE Kenny Mainor (suspension) is out indefinitely.

UCLA - Starting FB Michael Pitre (knee) missed last week and is questionable for Saturday. Starting DT Bringham Harwell (knee) is out at least four weeks after being injured last week. Starting DE Nikola Dragovic is expected to miss after suffering a concussion against BYU. WR Brandon Breazell (mouth) who leads the team in receptions is listed as Questionable. Breazell was injured last week vs BYU and has had two surgeries and may need additional surgery but is emphatic he will play Saturday.

USC – Starting LB Brian Cushing (ankle) is not expected to start and is questionable to play.

Utah – 2nd team MWC QB Brian Johnson (shoulder) is not expected back until next week. Starting RB Matt Asiata (leg) is out for the season. Starting WR Brent Casteel (knee) was hurt last week and is out for the season. Starting DT Gabe Long (knee) was hurt last week vs Air Force and is expected to be out 3-5 weeks.

Utah State – S Antonio Taylor (suspension) will miss the rest of the season. Taylor was the first non-linebacker since 1978 to lead the Aggies in tackles last season and led the defense in tackles this year. Starting DT Ben Child (leg) was injured against Wyoming and will miss the rest of the season.

Vanderbilt – Starting QB Chris Nickson was able to take most the snaps in practice on Thursday and is likely to start. Starting G Merritt Kirchoffer (leg) left last game and is questionable. Top WR Earl Bennett (ankle) is probable.

Virginia – Starting LB Jermaine Dias (ankle) went down during the Wyoming game. Dias, a three-year starter at outside linebacker has practiced this week and is questionable for tomorrow.

Virginia Tech – Frank Beamer announced he is going to start true freshman QB Tyrod Taylor against Ohio. Starting CB Victor Harris (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday.

Wake Forest – 2nd Team All-ACC QB Riley Skinner (shoulder) has been passing this week in practice but is not expected to play vs Army. Starting DE Matt Robinson (knee) missed last week and is very doubtful for Saturday. Starting FB Rich Belton (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee last week vs Nebraska.

Washington – CB Byron Davenport (hamstring) is listed as questionable but Willingham says he won't play as a result of not practicing Wednesday or Thursday. OG Casey Bulyca (ribs) has been limited in practice and is questionable vs Ohio State.

Washington State – WSU's best Defensive Lineman Ropati Pitoitua (foot) is listed as questionable by Don Best but is expected to start according to coaches.

Western Michigan – Starting FS Louis Delmas (concussion) has been downgraded to doubtful after missing last week. Coach Cubit said Delmas is "really, really doubtful". Starting LB Austin Prichard (knee) was injured last week and is expected to miss the rest of the season. Prichard was injured late in the game after recording 11 tackles in the game and was named MAC Defensive player of the week.

Wyoming – Starting LB Sean Claffey (foot) was injured last week vs Utah State and is listed as questionable. Backup QB Jacob Doss (hamstring) is sidelined indefinitely
