About this report: The added info report will be sent out each Friday night. This report includes pertinent injuries, suspensions, and other handicapping information.
Air Force - Starting RB Kip McCarthy (knee), led team in rushing last week but is questionable Saturday.
Akron - Returning starting DT Jared Cecchetti (foot) missed last game but has been upgraded to probable Saturday. WR
David Harvey (academics) missed last game and has left school. Harvey led the team in receiving yards last year.
Alabama – Expected starting DT Brian Motley (ankle) was injured in practice and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Arizona State – Returning starting WR Rudy Burgess (calf) missed last weeks game but has been upgraded to probable. Reserve RB Keegan Herring (Neck) left last game and has been downgraded to doubtful. Reserve LB Ryan McFoy (ankle) is questionable for Saturday.
Arkansas - Leading WR Marcus Monk (knee) is out indefinitely. Monk easily led the team in receptions, yards and TD's last year. Projected starting DT Marcus Harrison (suspension) is questionable this weekend. Projected starter at TE Ben Cleveland (neck) is expected be out several weeks.
Arkansas State – Projected returning Starting WR Patrick Higgins has been dismissed from the team during fall camp after arrest for theft.
Auburn – Projected starting RB Brad Lester (academics) is out indefinitely. Starting LB Tray Blackmon (ankle) is questionable for Saturday. Starting S Aairon Savage (ankle) is listed as questionable. Starting K Wesley Byrum (ankle) is expected to play vs South Florida. Returning starting CB Jonathan Wilhite (hamstring) was injured last game and is listed as questionable but has practiced at full speed since Monday.
Ball State – Returning starting LB Wendell Brown (pectoral) is out for the year. Projected starting WR Louis Johnson (knee) missed last week but is now listed as probable. FS Eddie Burk (ankle) left last game and is currently listed as questionable.
Baylor – Top OL Starting LT Jason Smith (knee) is expected to miss 4 weeks. Projected starting RT Thad Boatner (knee) is expected to miss the month of September. Last years starting RG Chad Smith, a 5th year senior, had left the team unexpectedly before the season started but has rejoined the team as the asking of Coach Morriss.
Boise State – Starting CB Kyle Wilson broke his hand last week but will play this week with a cast. Wilson will be unable to return punts and had a 61 yard return in the opener.
Boston College – Starting DT B.J. Raji (academics) is ineligible but has a small chance of playing if granted a waiver by the NCAA. Reserve RB Jeff Smith (concussion) is likely to play but limited to returning duties. Smith led the team in return yards last year. LB's Robert Francois and Mike McLaughlin both missed some practice this week but are expected to play. Starting LB Brian Toal (shoulder) has redshirted this season. Toal led the team in tackles per game last year.
Bowling Green – Top WR Corey Partridge and captain (ankle) left last game and is questionable for Saturday's game vs Michigan State. Partridge easily led the Falcons in receiving yards last year despite missing 2 games due to injury.
Buffalo – Top WR Terrance Breaux (knee) missed last game and is questionable for Saturday's game with Temple. Other starting WR Naaman Roosevelt (dizziness) is probable. Starting DE James Judges (elbow) is questionable for Saturday. CB Sherrod Lott (6 starts last year) is academically ineligible for this season.
BYU - Returning starting S Dustin Gabriel as well as backup S David Tafuna have foot injuries and will likely miss the season.
California – Starting DT Mike Kane (concussion) will not travel with the team to Colorado State and will miss. Starting PK Tom Schneider (quad) was hurt during pregame and is doubtful for Saturday.
Central Florida – Projected starting LB Jordan Richards (shoulder) missed last game and is listed as questionable for Saturday.
Connecticut – Starting LG Lawrence Green (knee) left last game and is out indefinitely. Starting LB Ryan Henegan (knee) missed last game and will not play Saturday vs Maine. Freshman LB Corey Stringer and reserve RB Andre Dixon are suspended indefinitely.
Colorado – Starting RB Hugh Charles (hamstring) left early last game and is out for Saturday. WR/RB/ST Bernard Jackson (eligibility) has not been practicing and will not play Saturday vs California. Jackson played QB last year and was named offensive captain before the season. Freshman WR Josh Smith (kidney) is out. Projected starting middle linebacker Michael Sipili was suspended for an offseason incident.
Colorado State – Backup C Tim Walter (ankle) is questionable for Saturday.
Duke – Top LB Michael Tauiliili has served his one game suspension and will return to the field Saturday. Tauiliili led the Blue Devils in tackles in each of his first two seasons.
East Carolina – QB Patrick Pinkney has been named the starter vs UNC. Pinkney replaced suspended Rob Kass at VT. Reserve OL Brandon Setzer (knee) is questionable and OL Doug Polochak (shoulder) will miss Saturday.
Florida – Returning starting WR Percy Harvin (Achilles) is probable but may be limited. Projected starting CB Markihe Anderson (knee) missed last game but is probable for Saturday. CB Markus Manson (ankle) is questionable. Projected starting OG Ronnie Wilson has been suspended for the 2007 season.
Florida Atlantic – WR Cortez Gent (personal) will miss Saturday's game vs Oklahoma State. FAU leading returning receiver Frantz Simeon (academics) will miss the season. Simeon also led the Sun Belt in punt returns. Fellow starting receiver Chad Wilkes (hamstring) remains questionable Saturday. TE Mike Wilds (knee) who had been listed a starter on the depth chart is now out for the season. Starting LG David Matlock missed practice with a left knee injury as well as a strained hamstring and is listed as day to day.
Florida International – Returning stating LT Andy Levine (hand) is questionable for Saturday.
Fresno State – Returning starting DT Jason Shirley (suspension) is expected to miss Saturday. LB Quaadir Brown was suspended last game but is expected to be back in the lineup. LB Ryan McKinley (knee) who started last game in Brown's place is doubtful.
Georgia – Starting RB Kregg Lumpkin (thumb) is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. Starting CB Ramarcus Brown (undisclosed) and reserve CB Donavon Baldwin (missed classes) are suspended for Saturday.
Hawaii – Returning Starting LB Blaze Soares (hamstring) missed last game and is expected to miss this week.
Iowa - Starting WR Dominique Douglas is suspended indefinitely following off the field issues. Douglas led the team catches and receiving yards last season.
Kansas State – Projected starting CB Joshua Moore (academics) is not expected to play this weekend vs San Jose State. Senior TE Rashaad Norwood, Kansas State's second-leading receiver last season, has been suspended indefinitely following a pair of arrests.
Kentucky – Starting WR Dicky Lyons (foot) is questionable for Saturday. CB E.J. Adams (wrist) is out indefinitely. Reserve LB Mikhail Mabry broke his thumb during Thursday's practice and will be sidelined indefinitely. Returning starting DT Myron Pryor returns to the team following a one game suspension.
Louisiana Tech – Returning starters LB Brannon Jackson and OG David Accardo are both listed as questionable.
Marshall – Returning starting CB Zearrick Matthews (leg) is expected to miss the next 2 games. Starting DE Albert McClellan (acl) is expected to miss the rest of the season. Starting DE John Jacobs (hand) left last game but has been upgraded to probable.
Memphis – Returning top starting RB Joseph Doss (knee) is expected to miss Saturday.
Miami – FB Jerrell Mabry (leg) is probable for Saturday. Backup RB Charlie Jones (foot) is out for Saturdays game at Oklahoma.
Miami (Ohio) – Returning OL starter Matt McKeown (shoulder) is expected to miss.
Michigan - Last year's starting RG, Alex Mitchell (undisclosed) who missed the opener with an injury is questionable. His replacement, Jeremy Ciulla (back), left the Appalachian State game because of injury and is questionable.
Michigan State – Projected starting WR T.J. Williams (suspension) is expected to miss Saturday.
Mississippi State – Starting DE Avery Hannibal (shin) is listed as questionable for Saturdays game at Tulane.
Missouri – Returning starting WR William Franklin (hip) is questionable for Saturday. Backup WR Danario Alexander (wrist) is expected to be out the month of September.
Nebraska – Starting DT Ty Steinkuhler (knee) left last week's game and is officially listed as questionable but coaches say he is expected to play.
Nevada – Starting center Dominic Green (broken foot) is expected to miss seven weeks.
North Carolina – LB Chase Rice (ankle) left last game and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
NC State - QB Harrison Beck has been named the starter for this week at BC. TE Anthony Hill (knee) who led the Wolfpack in receptions and yards last year will miss the season.
North Texas - Robert Peachey (hamstring) was expected to start at RT but is still listed as questionable. Returning starting SS Roy Loren has left the team for personal reasons. Projected starting OT Josh Alexander (knee) is expected to miss the season.
Northwestern - Returning starting SS Brendan Smith (shoulder) missed last game and is questionable for Saturday.
Notre Dame - Reserve DL Derrell Hand is suspended the next 2 games.
Ohio - Returning starting DE Ernie Hodge (disciplinary) is out indefinitely. Starting SS Michael Mitchell (shoulder) left last game and is questionable. Utility offensive lineman Mike Eynon (knee) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
Ohio State – Projected starting WR Raymond Small (ankle) missed last game and is questionable for this weekends game vs Akron. Starting DE Lawrence Wilson (leg) is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
Ole Miss – Returning starting WR Dexter McCluster has an undisclosed injury and is out 3-6 weeks. Ole Miss defensive tackle recruit Jerrell Powe will not be academically eligible this season.
Oklahoma State – Projected starting WR Artrell Woods (back) will miss the rest of the 2007 season. LB Alex Odiari who started 4 games last year was dismissed from the team due to legal issues.
Penn State – Reserve DT Abe Koroma (foot) is expected to miss. Returning TE Andrew Quarless (suspension) is out indefinitely.
Pittsburgh – Starting QB Bill Stull (thumb) is out 4-6 weeks. Top returning WR Derek Kinder (knee) was hurt in fall camp and expected to miss the season.
Rice – Second leading WR Joel Armstrong (foot) was missed last game and is currently questionable. Starting S Bencil Smith (leg) was hurt last game and is doubtful Saturday.
San Diego State – Returning OL starter Brandyn Dombrowski (eligibility) is questionable for Saturday.
San Jose State – 2nd team All WAC RB Yonus Davis (ankle) has been downgraded to expected to miss. Returning DT Adonis Davis (ankle) left last game and is expected to miss Saturday. RB Patrick Perry (knee) is out for the season.
SMU - All-conference LB Reggie Carrington, the team's leading tackler in 2006, decided not to play his final season. JUCO transfer S Rock Dennis, a projected starter suffered a shoulder injury and is out for the season.
South Carolina - Returning starter SS Emanuel Cook (appendix) is expected to miss Saturday. OL Kevin Young (ankle) is expected to miss the next two weeks.
South Florida – Starting OG Matt Huners (knee) is out indefinitely. Starting CB Trae Williams (leg) is currently questionable. Starting C Nick Capogna (knee) left last game and is expected to miss Saturday.
Stanford – Starting FB Emeka Nnoli (hip) will miss the season due to fall camp injury. Backup FB Sam Weinberger (undisclosed) missed last game and is currently questionable.
TCU - 1st Team MWC DE Tommy Blake (illness) has been upgraded to probable. Blake led TCU with 7 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss last year. Starting RB Aaron Brown (knee) has been downgraded to doubtful.
Tennessee – Starting DE Xavier Mitchell (concussion) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday. TE Brad Cottam will be out for most of his senior season with a left wrist injury.
Texas - Returning starter WR Billy Pittman (shoulder) is out indefinitely. DE Brian Orakpo (knee) has been downgraded and is now expected to miss. Reserve WR Jordan Shipley (hamstring) is listed as questionable.
Texas Tech – Starting QB Graham Harrell (ankle) is probable. Starting C Shawn Byrnes (leg) is currently listed as questionable.
Toledo - Two starters in the secondary, CB Nigel Morris and S Tyrrell Herbert, are doubtful for Saturday's game with unspecified injuries.
Tulsa – Projected starting RB Courtney Tennial (Achilles) is out for the season.
Troy – Returning starting DE Kenny Mainor (suspension) is out indefinitely.
UAB - Junior college and former Alabama running back Aaron Johns has been declared academically ineligible. Possible starting WR Courtney Love has left the team in fall camp and decided to transfer.
UCLA - Starting FB Michael Pitre (knee) is very doubtful for Saturday. Backup QB Patrick Cowan (hamstring) will miss several weeks. Starting CB Rodney Van has been upgraded to probable and Coach Dorrell said that he would play but may not start.
Utah – 2nd team MWC QB Brian Johnson (shoulder) is expected to miss 3-5 weeks. Starting RB Matt Asiata (leg) is out for the season.
Wake Forest – 2nd Team All-ACC QB Riley Skinner (shoulder) is out indefinitely. Starting DE Matt Robinson (knee) left last game and is very doubtful for Saturday.
Washington - Projected starting CB Jordan Murchison (personal) is out indefinitely. Former walk-on CB Cory Nicol was expected to start in his place but the junior has unexpectedly left the team.
Washington State - Returning starter DE Lance Broadus (shoulder) is listed as questionable but coaches have said he will play. Broadus was second on the team in sacks a year ago.
West Virginia – Starting QB Pat White (wrist) is probable vs Marshall. West Virginia suspended projected starters CB Ellis Lankster and LB J.T. Thomas indefinitely.
Western Michigan – Starting LB Austin Prichard (knee) was injured last week and is expected to miss the rest of the season. Prichard was injured late in the game after recording 11 tackles in the game and was named MAC Defensive player of the week. Starting S Louis Delmas and CB Londen Fryar were each held of out of practices this week and will be game time decisions.
Wisconsin - DE Jamal Cooper, who had been the projected starter at left end, has left the team. TE Andy Crooks (hamstring) missed last game and is questionable for Saturday.
Wyoming - Backup QB Jacob Doss (hamstring) is sidelined indefinitely. Backup TE Chris Sundberg (knee) is out 3-4 weeks.
